Macaroni Kid Longmont/Boulder 2018 Summer Camp & Activities EXPO

On St. Patrick's Day!

By Michele Pullo March 15, 2018

This Saturday, March 17th, St. Patrick's Day,  we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Macaroni Kid Longmont/Boulder Summer Camp Expo.  I'm so excited.  Last year everyone had a blast!  I had some great comments from parents, kids and camps regarding the event.  Parents shared that there were camps at the Expo that they didn't know existed!  Children found the camps that really interested them.   Local camps were thrilled to be able to meet parents face to face to answer their questions.  It was a win-win for all!  This year will be even better!

I have two kids, five years apart, and it's not easy to find the camps that interest them and fit in our schedule.  I knew I wanted to create a local Camp Guide, but realized that meeting camps in person could be a great help to parents.  Based on last year,  I've put together a few ideas to make the most of your morning.

1. Wear GREEN!  It's St Paddy's Day!

2. Bring a camera if you can't take pics with your phone.  My phone fills up pretty quickly.  Not only will there be a selfie station, but your kids will get a chance to play games at booths, try out the rock wall and watch some Paddy's Day festivities.  There might be some photo worthy moments you'll want to capture.

3. Bring your planner, or figure out your Summer schedule before Saturday, so that you can find out which camps work best for you.  Plan to book a camp while you're there!  Some camps will offer "day of event" specials that you won't want to miss.

4. Register for 1 Free ticket (for your family) for a chance to get a free swag bag.  REGISTER HERE on Eventbrite.

5. When you arrive, be sure to check in at the Macaroni Kid booth for your Day of Expo card to guide you to each Camp Booth.  Plus, you'll get a chance to win our Big Giveaway... you'll have to wait until Saturday to find out what it is.  ; )

Bring friends and family and get a great start to your weekend.

Looking forward to a beautiful day!
