Angles Sports is growing and we are happy to announce a few new offerings!
Angles Sports Exchange is a locally owned sports store located in the heart of the Longmont, CO area. It is our passion for getting you into the outdoors by providing cost effective sports gear. First off, we will be renting and selling Kayaks, Paddle Boards, and Tubes. Rentals and sales are available at our location on 9th ave Tuesday through Sat from 10 to 7 and Sunday from 11 to 5. Take advantage of our area's lakes, reservoirs and tubing parks!
Additionally, we have received a special use permit from the city to rent SUPs and kayaks at Flanders park (North side of Lake Mac off Lakeshore Dr) Thursday through Sunday from 10 to 6. We have 3 different sizes of SUPs, and 1 or 2 person kayaks for rental, all include PFDs, and whistles. Rentals start at $25 for 2 hours for a single kayak, and go up from there. All of our boats are available for hourly or daily rentals and we are happy to provide suggestions on where to take them.
We are also renting and selling tubes so you can float the St. Vrain, Boulder Creek, or any of the other local mellow rivers. Our tubes are not your flimsy cheap tubes that last a float or two, but rather are commercial grade PVC tubes that will last years. Tubes are not allowed on McIntosh Lake, so they are only available for rent at our store at 24 9th Ave., which is less than a mile from the Dickens Farm Park. With our guidance, you can float parts of the river you might not know about.
The second big announcement is our Fly Fishing store and guiding business. We received our Colorado Outfitters license and approval to guide fly fishing trips in RMNP and numerous rivers around CO and WY, and are offering private and semi private guided trips to experts and newbies to the sport. We are proud to be dealers for many of the major fly fishing brands, so we are now also your one stop shop for all your fly fishing needs. From rods to reels to fly's to waders, we have you covered. In addition to wading trips and classes, we will soon be offering float trips.
