11th Grade Students:
* Start prepping for SAT or ACT test. Start the process by understanding what score you will need to go to your first-choice colleges.
* 2nd test date for the SAT Subject tests - Registration deadline is September 6th for the October 5th subject test. Most schools do not need these tests, so check with your counselor if you need to take these tests.

Seniors:
* Finalize your college list, work on applications & essays, review transcripts for accuracy, request recommendation letters from teachers and counselors, meet with college reps, and schedule an appointment with your guidance counselor.

* Keep a monthly checklist during the academic year to make sure your child is on target.
* Meet with your child’s teacher and start to build a partnership with him or her.
