Discovery is hosting the annual Community Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt on April 1st from 10:00am - 11:30am.
Each year, our special needs egg hunt serves special needs kids and their families from all around the Denver metro area. We strive to provide hunts to meet some of the unique needs of these amazing children. We will have 5 different hunts offered: Sensory friendly, Quiet, Traditional , Audible and Wheelchair accessable.
We need your help to make the Special Needs Egg Hunt a welcoming, safe and fun event for these incredible families.
We have several opportunities to participate
- Craft table volunteer
- Welcome Table volunteer
- Help with Set Up or Tear Down for the event
- Run one of the Hunt stations
- Donate candy to fill the Easter Eggs
This is an All Ages serving opportunity and a great way to get involved at Discovery while serving and connecting with our community. We just ask that kids under 12 yrs old serve alongside their parents.
