Be the hero of a mythic quest with a Renaissance Adventures summer camp, where children & teens are the heroes of a mythic quest in an incredibly fun, award-winning experience like none other! Journey into a co-created story where every decision matters.
In Adventure Quest™, campers work together in a mythical and magical world to overcome interesting challenges, solve mystifying riddles, brainstorm unique solutions to puzzling dilemmas, and swashbuckle with foes. Participants choose mythic archetypes and powers and band together as a team to defend their village, solve a perplexing mystery, or negotiate a peace treaty.
In small groups of about six children, everyone gets a chance to shine and be the hero of a mythic quest! Hidden beneath the surface of what looks like a fun game, questers are actually gaining valuable social and emotional skills that aren’t always taught at school.
Adventure Quest™ supports Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) goals such as responsible decision-making, social awareness, and relationship building skills.
Weekly sessions running May 28 through August 16th. Prices range from $250-$599
Business Review
“Our children have gained more opportunities to learn about self-regulation and conflict resolution than I would have expected from a camp that is so much fun. The camp provides opportunities for nurturing relationships by engaging questers in low-stress, socially relevant situations. At home, we see our children applying skills that they unknowingly learned while questing. Opportunities in this super fun environment enhance their abilities to manage individual goals, show empathy for others, and make caring choices.” An Erie Parent
"My daughter (age 13) has been attending Renaissance Adventure camps for several years and has really enjoyed it! She likes the imaginative and storytelling element and it encourages the group to work together. It is rare to find programs that meet the interest of children from a wide age range, and I think Renaissance Adventures does this successfully. It also meets the needs of children who enjoy physical challenges/ sword fighting, or who are more into the puzzles and the story element. She has always felt safe and socially at ease in these camps." Rebecca A., Lafayette, CO
